Designed by John Bennet and built by Jack Powles International, the 41 is a fast, spacious, beamy cruiser, ideal for live aboard comfort.
48 of these were built between 1972 and 1980.
Damaged by partial flooding caused by a faulty bilge pump, the interior has been cleaned and dried ready for refurbishment. The engines were not effected and the good quality interior woodwork is also largely unharmed. She is now offered for sale at a bargain price, with re-carpeting, reupholstering and some re-wiring required to get her into ship shape condition.
The powerful twin 210 HP Ford Mermaid Turbo diesel engines give her a top speed of around 19 knots, a fast cruising speed of 15 knots and an economical slow cruising speed of 7 knots.

The forward cabin has 2 large V berths. The master aft cabin has two full size single berths and a smaller aft cabin to starboard has a single berth. A further double berth is formed by the pull out settee. Headlinings have been replaced in the aft starboard cabin, galley and main saloon using wood planking. The internal woodwork has been maintained to a high standard and the overall condition is good.
Heads compartments are fitted forward and aft.
The Galley is on the starboard side at the lower level forward of the wheelhouse. The current owners have completely reconstructed this area to a high standard, enclosing and wood lining the ceiling which was previously open to the saloon and installing new worktops, sink and adding electric extraction fans.
A rigidly installed 2020 Caprice full size gas oven with 4 burners, grill and oven, fitted with flame failure devices, a Samsung microwave and space for a fridge are within this area.
Raytheon Radar, Lowrance Fishfinder, ELO chartplotter, Furuno Echosounder, Furuno Navtex, Garmin GPS 182c installed on flybridge, garmin GPS 152, Standard Horizon VHF, Raymarine VHF on flybridge, Navco C900 chart plotter, Navico Autopilot.
Nasa Clipper compass, depth and speed/log with repeaters on the flybridge. Sumlog, Danforth steering compass.
24 volt and 12 volt battery systems charged by 24 volt and 12 volt alternators fitted to the engines. shore power connection is available and a petrol generator is fitted in a sound proofing box on the aft deck.
A Baxi gas fired central heating boiler supplies hot water and piped heating. An Eberspacher Diesel hot air heater is also installed.
