An excellent example of the Cruiser / Racer style developed in the 1980's. She has comfortable family accommodation yet has a successful racing history.
The vessel was constructed of grp in 1986 with the addition of floor stiffening at a later date by Ardfern Boatyard to improve upwind performance. The keel is a fin bolted directly through the heavily constructed flat bottom. Rudder is fin and skeg.
She is a fractionally rigged sloop. The mast and boom are the original France Spar items. Stainless rod rigging, twin groove forestay foil. Rigid vang with stainless spring. Spinnaker pole.All lines led aft to cockpit and dealt with by banks of jammers and winches.Genoa winches.

Beta Marine 20hp three cylinder diesel engine believed fitted new in the late 90s. Oil and filters changed every season regardless of the fact that there is only a handful of running hours.

Exhaust injection elbow, flexi pipes and silencer all renewed as precaution in the last few years. Fitted with a split charging diode.

Fore Cabin: Conventional twin V berth cabin with large opening hatch to foredeck.
Heads: Jabsco marine toilet fitted new 2007. Vanity unit with shower head/tap. Hot and cold pressurized fresh water. Small opening hatch to coachroof. Hanging Locker to starboard of heads.
Saloon: Two settee Pullman berths creating a sleeping space for four or sitting area for six+. Folding table. Opening hatch to coachroof but has been twisted and will leak a little under extreme conditions.
Galley: Plastimo 2000 cooker with grill and oven. Twin stainless sinks with hot and cold pressurized water via monobloc mixer tap. Sea water foot pump and delivery nozzle to sink.Insulated cool locker.
Chart Table: A full sized chart table and seat. Lots of West Coast charts.
Port Aft Cabin: Good size double cabin with hanging locker. Opening portlight to cockpit.
Starboard Aft cabin: Even bigger double cabin with hanging locker. Opening portlight to cockpit.
On Deck: The cockpit is laid out with the helm position at the aft end. Original worn teak slats removed in 2010 as they were becoming fragile and replaced with Treadmaster which looks pretty good and is a lot easier to maintain. Kilmelford Boatyard performed this replacement.
Main Race:- Saturn Sails laminate. New in 2005, in good condition (only done three West Highland Weeks).
Main Cruising:- Dacron. Slightly smaller and older than laminate but perfectly serviceable.
Genoa #1 Race:- Saturn Sails laminate. New in 2005, in good condition (only done three West Highland Weeks)
