Two quarter bunks and storage
Now re-marketed at a vastly reduced price, this is amazing value for such a strongly built quality yacht. She is a unique 70 foot Steel Staysail Schooner originally built by Hugh Maclean and Sons on the Clyde to full Admiralty standards and converted in the late 1980's by K G McColl & Co Ltd Portsmouth, for their own family use, into this superb ocean going live-aboard sailing yacht.
She has 2 tons of steel ballast in the keel and a further 2.5 tons internally along with approximately 12 tons of original welded ballast in the hull. With a massive 1200 litre fuel storage tank and dual 182 litre service tanks and 2000 litre water tanks she is truly set up for long distance work.
Extensively sailed around the UK and on an Icelandic expedition she has proven to be very strong and seaworthy.
She would also be excellent as a youth adventure / training yacht or expedition vessel.
