A Classic Wooden Gentleman's Cruising Yacht, built in 1926. 86 years in the same family ownership, she served in the Royal Navy in WWII as a troop transport. She was re-engined at Port Dundas in 1947.
She is solidly built in pitch pine from the masts and spars from the Barque "Snowdon".
She is a much loved family boat which has been in constant use and well maintained all her life. A very sound, solid and reliable boat.
She has very spacious and comfortable accommodation and retains many original features, classic and elegant lines, plenty of deck space with seating behind the wheelhouse and deck lockers.
There is full headroom throughout and is very bright below decks due to large skylights. There is a large sunny wheelhouse with comfortable seating for five people and an open outlook. There are wide bunks with lots of storage space.
She is an ideal motor yacht for family holidays and has a wonderful history and good potential for many years of cruising.
She has a top cruising speed of 8 knots and is very economical in running with the classic low revving Kelvin J4 engine in excellent condition.
